I can see multiplat or switch/3ds exclusive, but PS4 exclusive doesn't make that much sense to me. While the PS4 does have a lot of units out there, it's not doing all that well in Japan, and given the relatively low sales of other niche titles on PS4 Capcom would be shooting themselves in the foot by abandoning the handheld market that reliably buys a couple million of each MH. Monster Hunter 4 sold ~4 million copies, and so did 4G. Switching to PS4 exclusive would lose them at least a few million in potential sales, and if we're assuming this is a $50-60 game that means Sony would have to be ponying up ~100mil worth of support.
