I've never bullied someone online simply to get my kicks. Rational or not I had a reason to lash out. I've sent hatemail and griefed a little, but nothing really obsessive.

However, when I was in elementary school this one kid always gave me shit. I tried to make peace with him but that just egged him on, he was a pretty nasty kid.

A few months or so later I'd hung out with his brother a bit so I knew some about his family: they were poor. Not just poor, DIRTY POOR. Used jackets with cigarette burns poor. 'Can' t afford to shower' poor.

So each time I saw this kid, in line or at recess, I'd slip in

I probably said it a hundred times after I realized he fucking HATED it. I did it so much be bitched to one of the teachers, to which I laughed in his face and told him 'that's penance for the shit you pulled on ME'

I didn't get punished, and he switched schools. I will never feel bad about it.
