Jupiter is my favorite with Venus being a close second.

When I first saw the series, Mercury was my fav. Then for the longest time it was Venus. Now I'm torn between Mercury, Jupiter and Venus.

She is the best character in the series, just not the original 1992 Japanese anime, where she is mostly just really annoying and rarely displays the depth she ought to have. Most everything else about the anime is handled better though.

What I want to know is why were all the beach and swimsuit episodes almost always done by the shittiest artist who worked on the show (that would be column 8 in case you were wondering). I think only the beach episode in Stars actually used one of the decent artists.

The actual manga barely had any content and was basically produced in order to justify Toei making an anime out of the Sailor V property with additional characters when the rights to that were up in the air. They're so different that there's not much that the other adaptations keep close to in the first place aside from the basic plot skeleton.
