I want to play something that involves finding a treasure (artifact) or/within a lost city, like Uncharted and TR games. Doesn't have to be action oriented.
Why doesn't anyone tell me a good game about this?
>>378479102
Dwarf Fortress adventure mode. Go scrounge up artifacts, then go in Legends mode and read about the people and events on them.
>>378479209
I'd be happier if it involved "real" mythical cities like Atlantis, Shangri - La or a secret doorway in Pyramids. Or maybe even destroyed real life cities. Nevertheless I wrote Dorf Fortress down, anon. Thanks.

That taco is now mine.

>>378479973
>Root Double
Is that anything like 999?
I enjoyed 999 a lot.
>>378479973
I played through 999 and the last ending I can remember getting isthe one where clover kills seven, santa and junedropped the game shortly after that. are the other games in the series as good, I think I might get back into considering they all are on steam now
>>378480940
It's definitely similar yeah. RD was written by one of the writers who wrote Ever17 which, as you may know, was also written by Uchikoshi who wrote the ZE series.
RD is more of a pure VN though vs what 999 is. Look it up and if it looks interesting, give RD a whirl.
>>378477689
play with this *dicks out zip*
>>378477689
okay little anime girl. I have an idea. Lets play... Super Nice Game X
>>378477996
Fuck those sissy genres. Play Quake Champions and git gud.
>>378481263
999 and VLR are generally considered the best in the ZE series. People will argue that 999 > VLR and vice versa but both are a fun ride. ZTD is generally considered a train wreck on /v/ and I tend to agree with that.
I'd recommend the series if you like murder/mystery VNs. Just make sure you play them in volume order, don't skip around.
People have a gripe with the 999 PC port being inferior to the DS version but I really can't talk about that here. Bottom line is that if they look interesting, go and play them. ZE was a fine ride while it lasted.
>>378481915
I enjoyed some of ZTD's twists personally.
Dead Space 1&2
check pcgw for required fixes
>>378482737
ZTD is definitely more of a mixed bag compared to the rest of the series.
>>378481915
thanks for the rundown, any other games that are like 999 out there?
>>378477689
Here you got little anime girl.
>>378483470
As I said before, Root Double or titles in the Infinity series. Sure there is other stuff out there that I don't know about.
>>378484223
