mechanically it's awful, the act of just moving sonic around is deeply unpleasant, the physics are fucked so none of your movements seem to make sense, i'm getting mad just thinking about it
it's fun to watch someone play but wrestling with the game yourself is a chore that the ridiculousness of the story and the comedy value of its glitches does nothing to alleviate

No one really thought it was "OMG worst game ever!!" until Youtube LPers told them too. It was just a decent game that was sadly unfinished.

No. Nowhere near as bad as they tell you. It's actually by far tbe most enjoyable 3D Sonic up to that point.

It was pretty fucking bad. The game in itself wasn't HORRIFIC in its own right but if you're a Sonic fan then it was like eating glass every time you had another 30 second load screen.
