It's neat in the first 2-3 areas but just becomes boring after, don't buy it for more than 15 bux.

Its fine. Souls game with no depths that can be completed in a day, two if you're shit.

Zero depth in the choice of weapons and armor, nothing interesting about the world to talk about. Its been forgotten already.

It's got some unique mechanics but it ultimately doesn't compare to its inspirations. Play it if you've exhausted that series but are wanting some more. It's enjoyable.

It's better than Lords of the Fallen.
Pretty short and only 5 bosses.
Combat is okay but a lot of the enemy design is rather poor and there is a bad lack of enemy variety.
Great level design but the aesthetic is kind of bland and does not change the entire game which gets boring.

Only really worth picking up on a heavy discount.

Gave it a fair chance and didn't care for it. The game cribs a lot from the Souls formula but doesn't execute much of it well. Enemies are nearly all damage sponges, but limb based targetting lets you dispatch them quickly in exchange for getting less loot. All enemies can two shot you, returning to medbay (bonfire equivalent) resets all enemies. Stability (equivalent of Poise) determines stagger, and most enemies past the starter area have shitloads of it. Levels have shortcuts back to the safe point, but many levels don't open them up until almost the end, defeating the purpose. Bosses are all puzzle patterns; learn the dance, beat them down, move on, not much to get excited over. The GRFX and audio are pretty well done.

Forgot to add but there's some genuinely satisfying platforming shit in here too, with a much better jumping mechanic than the souls games. Mostly used for secrets, optional loot and great shortcuts.

Yes, it has huge areas with lots of Dark Souls style shortcuts but only 5 bosses.

Most areas aren't that big once you clear them enemies. It just takes a while to get from end to end with the tedious combat.

Geat combat and atmosphere, a lot of fun. Could be longer/have more variety. Totally recommend a pirate/rent/pick up if it's less than 20$
