Why "should've" when she was never stated to be playable at any point? By the end of this year FFXV is going to have 9 playable characters, possibly even 10 if they do the Ardyn playable too. FF7R being split into multiple games means it's going to have less than that in a single game.

And that one single character can do more than an entire party in previous FFs because he can use multiple weapons on the fly, as well as aerial combat and all that shit. In previous FFs you just picked a word from a menu then watched a character act it out.

FF7R doesn't have weapon switching, it's going to have character switching like Type-0 but what that means is that fundementally each character is more or less the same besides the weapon of choice they have.

In XV Noctis feels unique to use and he always will, even when adding other characters playable.
