Both 1 and 2 are on the 3DS and Steam, in English (though there's occasionally wonky translation). The third game isn't out yet.
If you do decide to give it a go, keep in mind the second game is a massive improvement over the first.
There's also 2 spinoffs, but we don't talk about those.

I played the first one, but couldn't beat the final boss because they had the bright idea to AMKE A SURVIVAL PATTERN CONSISTING ENTIRELY OF PURPLE AND BLACK BULLETS ON A PURPLE AND BLACK BACKGROUND WHAT THE FUCK

I also remember one of the skills being bugged so that you could cheese yourself into maxing out everything at the start of the stage

It was enjoyable, super budget ride nonetheless

It improves on basically everything. It's a bit easier, but whether that's good or bad is up to you. If you hated the first one enough to drop it after 20 minutes though, I don't think it'll be enough to make you like this one either.

The Switch one is the rhythm game, yeah. Main issue is that there are only 13 "stages" (just boss fights) that can be finished in like 2 minutes each, and it doesn't have any extras to extend the game like the main games.
Brave Dungeon is the dungeon crawler spinoff with Al.
