I've literally never seen anyone claim this is going to be some sort of esports game. People are just excited about the fact that it's a fucking fun game. I actually really liked 3pFFAs. More so than 2vs2s.

It's really intense trying to coordinate between two potential enemies while trying to make sure that its' never you getting ganked. While still making sure you'll be at an advantage when its ultimately reduced to 1vs1.

Is it just me or have motion controls finally clicked with me? By the third testfire, I had no problems moving my characters by tilting, I can't really imagine myself playing with standard controls when once you learn how to move. I began starting to enjoy V-Ball too after you realize that you need to grab and hit the ball and be more aware of your spacing to have an easier time hitting the ball.

Was a bit too much work for me given the short time bursts, so I opted out after the first testpunch and went sticks for the other days. I plan to give them.more time when the game launches, and maybe in the warmup stuff. I feel in the end it might be the control method of choice for many, but until I get more comfortable with it its sticks for me, and I was no slouch with them.

There are.
Also. For those who don't know. As far as sticks are concerned, you curve punches upwards by pulling down, not up. The curve controls are (by default anyway) inverted as far as the Y axis is concerned.

And really. Most people taking part of the testpunch didn't even know the basics of the basics. Like how to properly curve. How to charge. Or how to counter.
I am guilty too though. I only started to get an idea of what I was doing the last two times. But yeah. A ton of the footage is pretty damn awful as far as skill is concerned. Especially from the first sessions.

Every Arm can be anti-air, Hyper are also good anti air.
Curved punch + straight punch after that the opponent jumped and air dash will cover you from a grab or a suprise punch, and if you hit him you'll deal more damage because you would have charged your punches
Jump spam is stupid because you'll never take the benefits of charged punches.
