It was alright. Was a silver shitter last season so at least I'm improving. Broke into plat and just hovered around there until I got a huge losing streak bringing be back to the 2100s. Was able to bring it back to the 2400-2500 range but ran out of time before I could climb more.

Found myself having more success when I just mained Dva/Winston/Lucio rather than filling so I think I'll just stick to that next season.

For real, just tap it to hover rather than going to max height immediately. If you jump and then tap-hover until you're out of fuel, you can actually get your jump back before you hit the ground.
It's really useful on certain maps, namely Lijang and Ilios, because you can float around off the side of the map for a long-ass time bombing people on the point.

Also, when you're leaving spawn, launch your concussion blast behind you and toward your feet+hover a bit and you'll fly out of the spawn, gets you to point way faster.

Try and stay close to your team. A Zen sitting in the back is just a sitting duck for flankers.
Try and save ult for team fights when few people like your tanks are low on health and have them group up near you to turn the tables.

Nanoblade, Nanovisor and Graviton are ults you want to use Trans during as well as it completely invalidates them.

Call out who you have discorded and where they are. Also Discord is basically a free wallhack so use that to your advantage and charge your orbs, but be careful around doing that against tanks your mobility is crap and you might mot be able to one shot them like other characters.

Im not sure but I think there's an algorithmic explanation for it. I also think, if you value stats (which you should) that it screws with your win/loss ratio on heroes if you use one during Attack and another during Defense, depending on if your team won that round or not.

It happens to all of us. You can't always win and there will always be throwers. You just gotta accept it. To minimize your chances of playing with retards just start grouping up with people you won with before and possibly add them as a friend. Also, make sure to block players that you think were not good/throwing so you don't play with them again.

Honestly this season was shit. I usually place in plat, fine whatever, I'm not amazing at this game I'll take it, place get my comp points, move on. But the last half of my placement matches were fucking abysmal, just the cream of the retard crop, sank into high gold and could never escape. From then on every game I played my team was horrendous and I'm not good enough to carry. I'm not a fucking masters fine I can accept that, but God damn Gold is fucking hell.

Well, what else is it? From what little I played the actual shooting is secondary to using your moba-abilities efficiently.
The MOBA might be fun in short bursts, and I play it with my normie friends on occasions, but how much of a manchild do you even have to be to consider playing this competitively, and putting more effort into this than, say, mario kart?

Blocking doesn't do shit but mute their chat, sadly. I've tried playing with people who I've won too. I actually met a group of dope ass guys who we all had a good time even though we lost a few games and suddenly they either delete me or they just stop playing all together.
I can accept straight up losing but when every other game seems to be nothing but throwers it gets tiring. At least I'll start off with 2700~ SR next season.
