I just finished the swimsuit part last night on a separate slot. The system message and Morgana was really ominous about finishing Confidants. Would've been nice thematically to finish all the thieves.

Shido's palace takes 2 days to finish. 1 to secure the route then you send the calling card and you steal the treasure during the evening.

After Shido's deadline you get 2 evenings and 1 afternoon to do any confidant event before entering the final dungeon and finishing the game.

I went with Kawakami on my first playthrough, I'm wondering how romancing Ann changes the game since she's in the game a lot more.

Not only was it beneficial for her “quest to become human” (as Akira put it), it was wonderful to spend time with someone who had no pre-conceived notions about her. It’s odd to see such a childish and disposable toy in the great Makoto Niijima’s room, but she just doesn’t have the heart to throw it away. Makoto sighed. About a few months ago, Makoto asked Akira if he would take her to Akihabara. She had heard so much about the so-called “electric town” from other Shujin students that she would like to see it for herself. But it didn’t matter because Akira was not only her companion, but her guiding light through it all. They laughed, discussed, got to know each-other better, and most importantly, had fun. For some reason, at Akihabara, Makoto felt as alive as the bright neon signs that illuminated the streets.

To close out the night, Akira took her to a local arcade filled with claw machines. Makoto played her first claw machine that night. She didn’t expect how difficult they were. Akira started helping her after her third failed attempt. He showed her small tips and tricks that genuinely surprised her. Using her cunning strategies, and with Akira’s help, she was able to finally win a prize: the ugly teddy now sitting on her bedroom shelf. Akira was ecstatic to see Makoto win.
