Devil May Cry(2001) and Ninja Gaiden Black/Sigma are trash.
Metal Gear Rising, Bayonetta series and Devil May Cry 4 sucks.
The only good games by Rockstar are Bully and Manhunt.
The only good BamHam is the first one. Sequels are garbage.
Only good game by Platinum is Vanquish and that is half a game at best.
Metroidvania is a mistake. Classic pure platforming action games with none of that rpg shit is better.
Bioshock Infinite is trash. 2 is better.
Soulsborne and its clones are boring piles of garbage.

Banjo-Kazooie blows Super Mario 64 out of the water.
Gen 5 was the last time Pokemon was great, and Yokai Watch is a better game than XY, ORAS, and SuMo.
I legitimately love the clash between Final Fantasy and Disney in the Kingdom Hearts games, and KH1 is one of my favorite games.
Titanfall 2 was the best shooter released last year and should have won Multiplayer of the Year/Game of the Year over Overwatch.
The first Borderlands game is actually pretty good, and despite some QoL features in 2 and PS, it's a much better game overall.

Dragon Ball GT is a decent series, and has a great sense of scale if you can make it past the first handful of episodes - especially with nu-Toriyama as a new base to compare DBZ sequels with. I especially enjoy how it's actually violent again, as in DB-esqe bodily harm and dismemberment, and they limited the can-magically-regenerate bad guy to one out of three, which is pretty good

How contrarian am I!? I seriously dislike any of the older NES/GB/Genesis pixel shit games. I don't think they're bad games, I just thing they're ridiculously hard. I tried playing the original metal gear the other day at its so incredibly difficult with how little resources they give you.

I very much enjoyed Fire Emblem: Awakening and it saved the franchise.
