Yeah the first one is pretty good, still need to start 2020 but i heard is really different from the first game.

i tried each of the old ds ones and none hooked me. and i generally totally dig this genre. i really fucking wanted to like the series too.

For what the OP posted? The game in the OP is actually called 7th Dragon, and to say it isn't for everyone is an understatement. It's not really related to the EO series outside of some of the same staff if I recall.

EO 3 is objectively the best of the DS entries, but by now I'd say Untold 2 is the best game in the series purely on the game front.

VFD is pretty cool so far.
