Right, in less than a week there the Tales Of Festival. So, with the end of "The X" anime saying the shepherd journey isn't over, the artwork saying that Sorey and Velvet's path will cross again.

Is a sequel with Sorey/Velvet actually possible or you guys are meming? I know that Sorey is popular amongst the male protagonist even if his game was meh (probably thanks to fujo even if i personaly like carefree Shonen tropes Sorey) and that Berseria didn't did good in Japan but most people who played it say it's one of the best Tales.

I really loved Velvet as a character inb4 waifufagging, I would literally cry if they announce a sequel to Zestiria/Berseria with her in it.

I played pretty much every tales games but while Zestiria wasn't very good, Berseria was absolutely amazing despite its (numerous) flaws, by far my favorite tales.

The reason Malaks get corrupted and turn into dragons was that there were two factions of Heavenly Angels who differed on their views on how to deal with humans. One side (the Malak) said they could co-exist with humans and if they could then they would let humans survive.

The other side (the Seraphs) said that was bullshit and rigged the game by cursing Malaks with Malevolence which turned them into dragons and turned humans into demons, creating a mutual distrust between the two and forcing people to not be able to see the Malaks.

So essentially, when you get to the gate of Heaven at the end of the EX Dungeon, it tells you that the Seraphs are the true enemy. Velvet said she doesn't give a fuck and says she'd rather kill Artorius. It's a huge ass plotline to drop, and it sets up a pretty good mutual enemy at the end of Berseria.

I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to use Laphicet/Innominat as a destructive tool to destroy everyone. That gives Velvet a reason to wake up.

I didn't really like the battle systems in those games either, can't say I blame you one bit. Give Abyss a shot, as the battle system is much different there and even though it's older it's way more enjoyable than Graces F/Zestiria's combat. You can even emulate it if you want, but I do recommend using the undub because the skits aren't voiced in the English audio. Vesperia, Xillia 2, Hearts R, and Berseria are all really good too, but I recommend starting with Abyss just because it's easy to get a hold of.

Problem is, that, as has been pointed out, they go to such a degree of calling him out on it that he becomes suicidal. And then they tell him that he's shitbag for being depressed. To say they don't understand the meaning of positive reinforcement is an understatement. Granted, Guy isn't as bad about it and Jade is actually acknowledged as a dick unlike the rest. However Tear is a borderline mary sue who can do no wrong and is amazing in all things, whatserface barely matters but is otherwise "MUH REAL HUSBANDO!" and Anise is just a straight up spoiled cunt.

Either way, the problem with is that it would seem that they are clearly projecting all of the blame on Luke, but then it's just left at that. If it had good writing they'd all be forced to acknowledge or at least be called out for their fuckups. But that never actually happens. It's kind of sad that Ion was the most mature one there.
