What are some games where I can kill the video game industry?

>Only negative digital storage has is that you can't sell games
>HDD died two years ago
>Lost literally EVERYTHING on it
>It would cost me hundreds of dollars just to ship it out and attempt to restore everything on it
>Not even a guarantee that I'd get everything back
>It's been sitting in my drawer ever since

>HDD died two years ago
>Buy no brand / seagtate trash
>Surprised he gets shit in return for buying shit
>Not making back ups for all the important things you own
It's literally your own fault.
Besides, Physical can die just a quick as a normal HDD in the end if you don't take care of it.

Gotta run redundant backups. Also online backups of anything you're afraid of losing.

What is backing up
What is reinstalling games

>i use seagate hard drives
you deserve it

tfw my seagate survived more than 5 years
I got worried and bought a new one, no damage done, migrated my image folders succesfully.

>I-It's actually your fault!
I'm not the one that built my PC/bought the parts for it.

I had one from a few years ago, but I lost everything I had post-2012.
Shit lasted for 3 years and died out of nowhere.

what are the best hard drives?
are SSD's less prone to loss?
>>378394029
>Supply is infinite so finding a copy is never an issue
Except when the devs decide you can no longer buy their game, which has happened plenty of times. Oops, can't buy Alan Wake cause our music license expired! Can't buy that one Mickey Mouse platformer because the rights expired! Meanwhile no one can stop you from buying a physical game.

Digital
-prone to failure
-have to buy games through DRM services
-have to wait for games to go on sale for smaller price
-have to be downloaded so you can't use internet for anything else while it's downloading
-modern games take up at least 80gb which is alot of space
-games cannot be resold
Check mate digitalfats.

This literally makes it your fault
Call of Duty 4
>>378394235
Well I guess the stuff on there wasn't that important if you're not even bothering to recover it?

I think games like FFXV prove that these apply to retail games too
>>378395830
This, the image is exaggerated, it's not more likely that someone will steal your steam account then a fucking PS2 game disc.
Digital is a nice alternative option but physical should always be a thing.

>Giving someone hundreds of dollars to try and recover your stuff, but no refund if nothing can be salvaged
>>378396463
What does FFXV do?
