What do you like about dark souls?

The atmosphere, the difficulty, the bosses.

a unique style of cooperative gameplay. Each time you're summoned by a random it's like you're meeting a new comrade

Online mostly. The rest is just window dressing.

PvP in Souls is pretty awful. Invasions can be interesting but duels are garbage.

CoOp is fine.

But playing Souls alone, cold, on your first run is the GOAT experience.

if they fixed the netcode, sure, but as it stands, it's an atrocious piece of fucking garbage. Hitboxes being tied to a p2p system is legitimately garbage and the game isn't well made enough for pvp to feel like a well designed and implemented game mechanic.

The rush of beating bosses and getting rare equip drops from mobs is what keeps hooked.

I think it's fun, tough and fair. Its my favorite platformer, boss rush, get to the end game.
