its alright. its in this weird kind of "MCU but not quite" thing going on but its characters are better designed for the most part. Gamora and Drax are infinitely better than their movie designs, Groot is this weird amalgamation of the MCU design and the weird vine Groot from the run when Venom and Thing were part of the Guardians. Rocket is just MCU Rocket and Quill is basically Guybrush Star Lord. Humor is similar to TFTB but not quite as crude in places.

This, I only recently picked up the handsome collection after playing Tales Borderlands and it being the best tales series, Had Only played 1 shortly around release, bland world and shit writing and a wrote the series off.
2 is way more fun but the writings still dog shit.

Hopefully the people that did the story for tales are involved with 3.
