I usually watch people who are much better than me at the video game or people who are playing a game I might buy. Sometimes I'll watch If someone's Twitch chat is filled with spam, I'll stop watching. If a streamer ever talks to "chat" as a singular entity, I'll stop watching. If it's a girl, I won't watch in the first place.

Tourney stuff makes some sense, watching people compete. But LPs and shit are utterly retarded unless it's for walkthrough purposes and you're stuck on a certain part.
That said, I used to watch V2, so it was more about chatting with everyone and telling the guy streaming what to do. But the intermissions were the best part anyway.

watching people play video games is okay in very small doses to glean gameplay mechanics before a game comes out but even then you have to be very careful as the vast majority are meme spouting shills. anything else is simply people playing games vicariously through others because for whatever reason they don't want to play games and would rather spam emoticons into a chat screen with other people who watch people play video games.
