Since I do it for the PS4 bait images, I'll do it here: 6/8 games on that image aren't out yet. The ARMS demo is rolling out, and while it's getting good press, it's nevertheless not out. There's especially no point in trying to hunt one down now when there's not too many games I really want to play on it portable ports or otherwise.

They're likely to be easier to find right before the Christmas buying season picks up later in the year and by then 2 more of those games will have come out and maybe some other third party stuff worth checking out, indie or otherwise. As always, early adoption is for suckers.

Oh, that's an easy one to answer. Any obscure indie game that doesn't sexualize their main characters will gladly and easily fall into the parameter. The real issue here is that discussion explodes into degeneracy when your game needs to be "watered down for a wider audience" and you have no good gameplay, so you have to throw in waifus to distract the player. When you have good gameplay, there's no distraction or watering down necessary, and having a small budget means that even 1000 copies of a game being sold will mean success. You don't need to pay off kotaku for press coverage when you have a dedicated, but small, fanbase who's happy with what you put out.

Take a few examples:

>Nier, Dragon's Crown, Bayonetta, Xenoblade
>all cinematic hogwash because they're too busy with cutscenes, voice acting, throwing tits and nude asses in your face, and overall lazily optimized garbage gameplay.
>every single discussion about any of these games will be dominated by porn dumps, without fail.

Now for some inverse examples:

>Metroid (pre-other M and pre-Zero suit), Gradius, Contra, Pac-Man, Ikaruga, FTL, etc
>all good fun videogamey products that are always having gameplay discussion because they don't have waifus and don't rely on petty cinematics and cutscenes. Also, they're designed to be replayable many times over, so gameplay discussion is always fresh and livid
