Yes, gameplay is fun and all, but that was never what the metal gear games were about. They were about the characters, the lore, and Kojima's unique touch.

I still want the gameplay to be good, don't get me wrong. But what I am saying is that if you were given a choice between a metal gear solid 6 movie and metal gear solid 6 game (that has the same gameplay - story ration as TPP), than i'm sure i and most other people would prefer the movie.

Fuck no, I would take TPP over 4 any day. MGS3 had almost the best balance of gameplay and story. It's still clunky as fuck in comparison to MGSV though
