I can actually find plenty of flaws.

Didn't stop it from completely dominating my entire December though. Loved the shit out of this game. I'm excited for Xenoblade 2 but I'm also pissed that Takahashi just dropped X's story and instead jumped ship to continue a story that was already neatly wrapped up.

I feel like he's going more for the money than the art, if you catch me. I have no doubt X2 will still be damn great but it leaves a sour taste.

In the end, my biggest complain is that I feel it has the things I hate the most from MMOs, the grind, the item drop bullshit and fetchquests that you have to check fucking online if you don't want to spend hours searching for specific mosters or items.

Still, it's pretty solid and addictive, download XCXGecko to get items and shit, combat is cool.

Should I just download XCXgecko to get materials to craft augments? I have like 90% of the game done and I don't feel like grinding enemies, especially with this game's shitty drop rates.

First off, the story in XCX is better than this ff15 trash where you're a martyr from day one and just accept it. Trying to save humanity only to find out all your bodies are dead and they don't know what's keeping you alive.

Also the team for XCX took the laughably limited hardware of the Wii U and made the game look astonishing considering the limitations. Seamless sprawling worlds with diverse locations, continents as big as skyrim.

FF15 had a shitty on rails feeling where you just auto drive or teleport everywhere and do mundane slice of life things. Comfy as fuck, sure, but not as compelling.

The graduation from mountain hopper to flying in a gear is awesome as well. The biggest crime is the Wii U here. I have it running on Cemu flawlessly at 1080p and it looks amazing.
