Please recommend me some mech games with realistic mechs.

>Realistic mechs
What did you mean by this?

Mechs that look realistic?
>>378361704
No such thing exists.

What do you mean?
>>378363302
Mechs are inherently unrealistic because of the square-cube law/the existence of air power/the existence of man-portable anti-armor weapons that can take out a leg and completely disable the giant robot.
>>378363668
so its the same "law" for tracked and wheeled vehicles?
>>378360825
>realistic
>mechs
wut

It's the same law for everything, its just that the "giant bipedal robot" form factor is at a disadvantage compared to a tank.
A spider tank might be possible someday, but gundams will never be a good idea.

That being said, you might enjoy a game like steel battalion or chromehounds.
mechwarrior 4
This is about as large as I could feasibly see a "mech" getting. It's large enough to use what would otherwise be crew serviced weapons, cover in lvl IV armor, and haul around the powerplant to carry it all. Meanwhile it's small enough to move fairly quickly and even take cover behind larger objects, not utterly destroy any road or bridge it travels on, and not just be a giant TOW magnet.
It's more like oversized powered armor than a real "mech."

Kind of sucks no one has really made a Steel Battalion-like game for the PC; it seems like it would sell the best on it.

World of Tanks.

That's an exo-suit, son

Not OP but I was always ok with Battletech kind of mechs. Jap sound speed mechs with lightsabers are meeeeh. Truly realistic mechs are impossible sure. But it would be nice if at least some physics laws were respected. I can accept some handwavium but not all handwavium.
