It's a great game.

also seems to getting monthly content patches at the moment aswell.

singleplayer is also pretty nice if that's your thing.

I think it was like 30 bucks on sale when it came out. Should be alot less by now

Its a shame it isn't more popular than it is, it really is fantastically well done. Not that its dead or anything because its not, it just deserves more people giving it attention. Even the single player campaign is fun, pretty short but very fun.

Maps are worse, the movement is completely different

I really found TF2 to be awful cuz of the maps, uninteresting abilities, lame titan combat and balance and a few other reasons

Just use the trial to try it out and see for yourself
