it's simple, great campaigns, pretty unique gameplay which still holds up really well, due that skirmish is still playable and fun vs ai even without mods, a lot units of 9 races are with visible upgrades which you just don't see in modern rts titles, you can build base and fortify points with turrets or just build stationary turrets and maybe plant some mines, so it plays like true rts game not some meme pseudo rts turd like "world in conflict" b-but look at those nukes. Fuck off we have baneblades. You can paint your army, also mods.

well pathfinding was issue for every single rts game from that era, even dow2 with smaller armies had issues with pathfinding

and the way units keep blocking each others paths and take up a shit ton of invisible space around the guy itself is really frustrating
