but my first game was Super Mario World for SNES.

World of Illision Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck

Super Mario World on SNES. We got a random parcel in the mail from my grandfather who I hadn't met at that point. It had an out of box SNES and some games.

Well for me its kind of weird:
>mario bros on my uncles famicon when i was like6 or 7 (played like literal minutes i didnt really like it)
>years later my aunt got me and my brother a genesis and we played streets of rage a lot, also that tom and jerry game and a loony toons party game (my genesis eventually broke down and we stopped playing videogames for a while)
>had a friend with a megadrive 3 and we used to play golden axe and sonic 2
>got a playstation and played re3, this is when i finally "got into" videogames. Played all the REs, crash2, silent hill, MvC and digimon rumble
