LWA has lore that can be expanded upon, so it leaves itself open to that.

KLK doesn't really leave much mystery after it ends. Most of what people want is a 1:1 adaptation of the anime which either

a) Isn't enough material to make an action game

and

b) Seems redundant in the MODERN era of anime licensed videogames where it's encouraged to EXPAND on the series' lore rather than straight up adapt from it. That said there isn't much to be desired in a game adaptation aside from an "us KLK fans" fanwank.

Even more damning to this, it'd be much easier to watch the series on a streaming service than put down 60 bucks on a game based on it.

Nickelodeon was willing to pay for it because they could, but they had no real sense of scale for what'd work in an Avatar game so they also spent their money blindly.
