Warmane fakes their pop numbers because they realize that Nost has brainwashed people into thinking a server is dead if it doesn't have 10k+ people playing on it. It's even worse when people expect those numbers for the expansions which have much more condensed space and content compared to vanilla. People clamor for "Blizzlike" as much as possible but think a server is dead when it has twice as many players as an actual retail server does.
