It's sad to me. They could have tapped Revengence's team to make a KLK game because both of them came out at about that time, and it would have been thematically appropriate to the show.

Now we have a LWA dragons crown game about a girl who can't even canonically cast a fireball. She can't even do anything except turn into a tiny mouse and trip all over herself. There hasn't been enough passion at all. 40% of the studio is currently working on Imaishi's new show, which once it goes into production will likely have the whole studio putting all their energy into it.

LWA really needed that if it was to even attempt to live up to the standard set by the two OVAs. Instead it's a lacklustre effort with terrible writing and pacing. It's a real disappointment. At least Diana's arc was pretty good.

Enchanted Parade is great, but the TV show seems almost aimless at times. Like nothing is really planned-out and more happens based on what one of the animators or directors felt like happening at the time.

It's given us some wonderful character-centric episodes, but not a lot of direction for the show. We're only getting that direction now that we're in the second Cour, and that's kind of silly.
