I tried the demo for this and had to stop because of all the dialogue. When I finally got to the game I was underwhelmed with the demo. I was expecting something closer to advance wars and fire emblem. It's more of like an ogre battle deployment but not in real time. I don't really get why it's so popular. Is it another case of a game being overhype's because it was previously a Sony exclusive?

Also the VA is some of the worst I've heard. Literally worse than 4Kids.

People like it for the post-game, which is mostly a lot of grind. Some of the story maps can be sort of clever and fun, so it's possible the demo just has some shit maps.
