Incompetent in what way? I feel like he always gets the point across nicely when speaking except for that one time...PLAY THE GAME and he seemed to be trying his damnedest to get folks on board for the Switch with methods more worthwhile than just standing in front of a green screen and talking about it (doing multiple interviews with fans, honestly answering questions about his thoughts on the Wii U, putting up with "when's Metroid" every time someone sees him in public).

I don't really feel one way or the other about him, he's just some guy, but I do acknowledge his efforts to getting closer to the general fanbase as of late. All the others, as far as I know, just do something funny on Twitter and that's it.

He is extremely great at conducting interviews. He knows how to hype up garbage and manage to say absolutely nothing of instrinsic value while talking nonstop for 15 minutes. Companies love guys like this; consumers hate them.
