I miss the XMB
PSP is truly the greatest gaming device
>>378274667
XMB was so comfy, I really wish they brought it back somehow.
>>378273125
>home is smiling at you
top comfy
Why did everyone hop on the metro train anyway. It looks cluttered and awful

>Why did everyone hop on the metro train anyway.
??? Are there other consoles with a metro theme?

Xbone UI is god awful
Metro is so terrible, I have no idea how why it was used or how it lasted
i like the vita skittles
I miss the XMBs so much. What the hell is this PS4 UI clusterfuck?

The PS4 interface would be so easy to fix too.
>Allow users to manually sort games and apps
>Put the store in the above menu instead of permanently sticked to the main menu
>Move the media player to the video app folder
>Remove that "what's new bullshit"
>Make folders populate down instead of across
>Allow more options to pin stuff to the Quick Menu, like "turn off device" I use that shit constantly swapping controllers and have to click over and scroll down just to get there
>>378273125
XMB was god tier, but they stlll wont let me get rid of that singstar app on my ps3
Then we got PS4 which is inspired by the XMB but we cant customize orders or install our own themes
>>378273125
>>378278551
Allow us to remove all that fucking Sony clutter shit they keep trying to push. Why did it takes 4 years to introduce folders as well? Sonys programmers truly are the fucking worst.
>>378278551
>I use that shit constantly swapping controllers
don't need to do that anon, just press the ps button on the new controller and log in as you it turns off
the previous controller instantly.
I do it with my fighting game pad
I thought the original Xbox looked cool

This, Win 7 and Vista are the most comfy versions of Windows ever released.
PSP XMB was god tier and perfectly suited for the nature of a handheld device, keeping all your shit organized just perfectly. PS3 XMB on the other hand felt really empty and vapid, there was nothing going on and a lot of negative space.
Fite me fgts
>>378278551
It took all of 2 minutes to organize all of my games, sony shit and PSplus games into seperate folders.

Aero is comfy as fuck, but WinXP will always have a special place in my heart. On that note, is there a way to get Aero on Windows 10?
>>378279050
The empty space is the best part though.
>>378275835
The PS4 menus are infinitely better though. It's xmb but nicer, it isn't even that different.
>>378279069
That's easy, what I'm talking about is the default shit that stays on the screen that you can't put in a folder.
And the fact that you can't put folders in the order you want them.
>>378279236
No unfortunately. There are some themes that make the taskbar and shit opaque, but it's not really aero.
>>378279331
>It's xmb but nicer, it isn't even that different.
it's really chunky and bloated looking in comparison.
>>378278551
>there are events you might enjoy
>spanish cod tournament or some shit
>>378279236
They removed Aero because it's a resource hog from what I know.
>>378280597
>instead of optimizing it and making it run better they just scrap it
Fucking Microsoft i swear.
the original xbox 360 menu
>>378280597
Well, it was 10 years ago, but I think computers can handle it now.
>>378273125
Comfy ui for comfy game
>>378280774
Nah, Aero still causes issues. Running an OC'd 3570k and 970. Prior to refreshing my system I was getting prompts to change my color scheme to default colors whenever I ran any games that were a bit too demanding. While I no longer have a state of the art setup, I'm running shit at ultra at 1440 and averaging 60+ Fps, so it's not like it sucks. Aero is just unhappy.
>>378276598
Not consoles, but a lot of AAA games these days have metro-themed menus

Blades for life.
