Combat is fun and can be pretty exciting when things get hectic. The story is garbage though and the characters forgettable. There's also an abnormal amount of strong, independent women NPCs and most of the males are either fucking pathetic, crazy, or bow down to a strong woman. Maybe it's just me though that's only seeing that.

HZD is the most-polished game that plays it safe by not trying anything particularly new. However, everything it does, it does well.

Graphics are god-tier for consoles, combat is great unless for some reason you try to use melee for anything but an oh shit button. Story is good, better than average. Side quests get a little repetitive, and non-main characters aren't all well written.

The draw of the game is the ranged combat, graphics, and story, probably in that order.

I enjoyed it completely. But the game is very short, even at 100% and Once you clear it completely there's 0 reasons to replay because there's very little branching the way quests occur.

I will say this and the Phantom Pain are the only games where I never used quick travel and thoroughly enjoyed sneaking around between objectives and just fucking around in the environment taking on every cannon fodder enemy I run into.

Its pretty good, but don't let the 2 year time decieve you, It took me 2 years to notice I didn't finish the last mission on hardest difficulty so I was an achievement short. Its actually about 45 minutes, swapping powers is fun and they've done a lot to make the side missions less repetitive and grindy, but they've made it feel really small at the same time too.

That guy's not me, Nioh is pretty good, its like a mix between souls and ninja gaiden with diablo tier gear farming, you'll spend a lot of time getting identical looking stuff with slightly better numbers only to spend more time grinding for gold to re-roll numbers on that gear and make it even better. There's definitely a lot of different looking loot to find and its pretty fun the first time around, but if you don't like repetition its not for you, there's very little enemy variety and a lot of gameplay is repeating old missions dozens of times for boss materials or specific rarity drops.

I enjoyed it but it felt like there was something missing, like they ignored the possibility of someone wanting to play it repeatedly and the balance is suffering because of it, so it feels a little forcefully grindy if you want to max out all the weapons, but it feels way too short if you just play it using weapons you like and not focusing on leveling them all.

Demon's because it's the slowest of the series, I really enjoyed the make your own adventure feel of playing the game, each subsequent game became a little faster and in turn a bit more hectic to the point I reached blooborne I rarely had enough time to enjoy the atmosphere and in 3 the boss fights were so fast they were over before I could blink.
