MoF is a shift in aesthetic and gameplay design.
SA is hard.
UFO has an awkward resource mechanic.
TD has a more/less awkward depending on your view resource mechanic.
DDC has an aggressive resource mechanic.
LoLK is even harder.

The only thing that's sure, is that you shouldn't do is push yourself doing something you don't like.

I kept fucking around with the games with no purpose or goal and I got bored of them eventually.
But when I learned the concept of 1cc's, I stuck with them.
I liked that idea and the challenge that came with that, but the struggle to get one was a long and painful one.
I enjoyed every minute of it however, getting better and better, kicking Meiling's or Sakuya's ass who kept killing me with no end in sight.
And after 3 months I got my very own EoSD Normal 1cc that I cherished so much.

If you like the challening yourself to become better and if you find those kind of games fun, then of course go for them. Get your first 1cc and after that, you'll see that you want to play more by yourself.

Nothing, NOTHING beats the satisfaction you get from that first 1cc.

My first Extra and third 1cc were on par.
My second 1cc was the best.
Later on my first L1CC actually filled me with emptiness.

I've played Koumajou Densetsu II and Touhou Sky Arena. They both have pretty decent voice acting. KDII is a good Castlevania clone. Touhou Sky Arena is a fun 3d fighting game. There's also unofficial voice patches you can find for some of the official fighting games of the series if you're interested.

I can agree on that one. It felt really amazing defeating Flan.

I played the games in order, going from 6. Usually, the more time I put into something, the better I feel in the end when I beat it.
In PCB, IN and MoF, while I did feel happy when I beat them, the feeling wasn't that intense as the first one.

But it DID happen again when I got my 1cc in SA. And this game took me the same amount of time to 1cc as EoSD. Same thing with Flan, although she took me much less time than SA.
