Manufacturers have started to take input lag much more seriously the last couple of years and there are many new models with good numbers (2017 LG OLEDs are at 20ms for example), you only have to look at reviews (not to mention consoles would suffer the same thing.)

The percentage of your vision occupied by the monitor is a matter of both size and viewing distance. My 27" probably has a larger ratio than your 55", because I'm much closer to it.

Also, your 4k is a meme because you can't even see that shit at your distance, and your console can't really drive it either.

It's 62cm (says Ikea). It's actually a tad too high but it works, I could always cut off the legs a bit if I really wanted to.

The way I did it was to simply measure the height of my eyes while sitting in the chair, and used that as the target height for the center of the screen. Subtracting for the screen size/built-in stand and what was left was the height I looked for.

Aim assist is hit and miss depending on the game. Battlefield One has aim assist for consoles on PC, but its useless if the enemy is remotely far away since it won't kick in at that distance.
