Being overwhelmed by choice becomes really frustrating when the choices feel like they don't really affect much.

I could be chasing after this quest marker or another one, or twenty others, but does it even matter when it all feels so similar just because they had to sacrifice uniqueness for more content? Maybe some of these quests suck but I have no way of knowing before wasting my time with them so I'm less motivated to start any of them.

Final Fantasy 13.

I reached the pope/monk/priest boss fight that took me a while. After I beat him, I was happy, but that satisfaction was immediately taken away when the boss descended down as if a battle never occurred. If the boss showed any kind of wear and tear, scratches, bruises, cuts or blood, heavy breathing, panting, sweating, or literally anything that showed the boss fight happened, I would have been satisfied, but the lack of anything just made it feel like I wasted my time with the boss, especially since this boss was more than just a general monster boss fight. I dropped the game there and never went back.

Skyforge, customization was absolute garbage for an MMO. I mean its an MMO it didnt have alot going for it, but this was actually why I stopped playing.

I was told I'd be getting Deus Ex. That's the problem, I went in expecting to stealth my way through Jians and Feds while getting hacked by doors. I expected maps that are on the level of Deus Ex, VTMB, and the like. I expected to be able to talk out my problems and beat the game without killing anyone. Then I found out there are endlessly respawning enemies.
No, I already got caught in the cycles of guilt, but I dropped it for two years after playing the second level. If I was told I'd be getting Serious Sam with Deus Ex's augmentations and cyberfuture dystopia style I'd be having tons of fun much earlier.

Now that I think about it, I never dropped that many games. Only other ones I can think of are the mobile phone type of shit that sometimes comes on disk with real games.

This is the thing though, you don't need a "VOICE" actor. You need someone who's good at fucking acting, and a good director to tell them what to do.

This is why even if you get the "talent" if you don't direct them they just sound like they're reading lines off the page.

At around about 1 hour in, I just get pissed off with the big glaring issue that the game has. Whether it's lacking compared to the rest of the genre, too easy or had old fashioned difficulty I get put off by the game.

Jesus christ this mirrors my opinion perfectly. I fucking love Witcher 1, and was hyped for years to finally play my collectors edition of W2 I had bought some time ago before then. I wanted to buy and build a superior rig to play it on the settings it deserved.

Imagine my fucking face when I start playing the game (on the hardest non-permadeath difficulty, not that I ever died in the first place anyways) and find out it was the most disgusting non-360 360 game I had ever played. I got to act 3 and dropped it at the start there. My interest just dropped like a rock there and I couldn't be arsed to finish roche's path, much less that elf faggot's route or even W3 in its entirety, being the same shit only open world.

And fuck every single one of you who likes Letho or whatever that fucker is named, he killed my poker dice buddy king foltest and I'll never forgive that. Even if foltest wanted to leash my free ass to him.

I don't get how this game gets so much praise, the game has got some alright music, but the combat system is ass and the AI companions are nearly useless. I suppose it could get better if you have somebody to co-op with.
