I'm curious if you can grab immediately when you use your super. I feel like the most likely thing an opponent would do when it comes out is to either guard or dodge, so throwing a grab might be smart. I mean, sure, you lose out on loads of potential damage, but a grab's a grab if it connects.

That doesn't do anything when both opponents are targeting you. 1v1v1 and the tethered matches are really unfun honestly. I mean they'll take time to get good at, but they're easily the worst part of just getting thrown into the game like this.

I guess the slightly increased verticality means you can't punch the grab, which means it's incredibly hard to get any damage in. They really need to sort that shit out.

MinMin's pretty cool (faster char in the demo) too but her charged attack aren't that great so she's easy to predict

Other char are either way too slow (Master Mummy, Helix) or have too much lag with their dodge or jump (Ninjara's airdodge is one of the worsts I think) but I need to play them a bit more to judge them correctly

It was good, but not $60 good. If I could grab this for $30 I'd get it day one.

Small roster and they feel samey despite being fun. I know there more characters but there need to be about 5-10 more characters than already shown. And their unique abilities aren't enough to make them feel more unique. I mean, it is like if every character in the game was Ryu. Some are faster and jump differently, but they still have the same moves.

Min Min is prolly the best character in the game.

V-ball and 1v1v1 are shit. 2v2 and 1v1 are fun. 1v1v1 needs to be 1v1v1v1 for it to be somewhat OK. Didn't use the joy-con's so they could make it better, but I rather not flail my 'arms' about.

It doesn't seem like it's tied 1:1 to her special meter. Sometimes you have you have the dragon arm without having your special. Sometimes you have your special without your dragon arm.
