The weaknesses are different, but the games are piss easy

if you beat Nocturne (better have beaten Lucifer with PIERCE motherfucker) then DDS is chlid's play in comparison. There is the odd challenging fight here and there and its got the demifiend superboss but otherwise you'll breeze through it

honestly I think Beelz was the hardest fight in DDS1

DDS if you go pure physical without any Hunger skills = you are fucked by the end game and final boss. It is not finely balanced like SMT3. Don't give me Lucifer in SMT3's OPTIONAL secret route, that's not the regular final boss and you know it.

You can get strength mantras and such, but it's recommended to follow the members weakness mantra path, ie Serph goes Fire, Argilla goes Elec, etc.
