I was locked out all of yesterday on PC but I'm having not problems this morning. The servers are definitely improving but are probably not 100% yet. This game is a ton of fun when the servers aren't being lazy niggers.

Playing as Chad is the only way to play. Being an absolute nightmare and baiting a Jason around for a solid 5 minutes, leaping through closed windows like it's nothing, is 10/10.

It obviously needs a lot of pollish and a little bit of balance tweaking but the game is already great. All I would change is to give Jason a 1 or 2 second cooldown before he can grab or attack after teleporting. Playing as Jason it's a little lame to just instantly teleport grab people. They should force you to stalk or chase people down more.

As I'm getting better I'm finding that being stealthy is pretty easy. Just keep fear down and don't jog inside. I survive about 60% of the time now so I don't really find Jason too OP. If people around me are too noisy I just hide in a closet and Jason runs off after them.

My favorite thing to do as Jason is to find vocal groups and just answer their questions and see how long it takes them to realize that its Jason talking to them.

I think this is the thing that's most needed. Game isn't bad, lots of issues, but at the end of the day it's a game. I want to play it. If I fuck up and die at the beginning, I shouldn't be forced to sit in a game for 15 minutes watching people play.

I like the idea but they still need to find a way to keep Jason OP. I like that the game is less focused on being competitive and more on making Jason terrifying. Keep it as a solid F13 simulator and fuck Esports. A good Jason should kill a minimum of 5/7 people every time. If it regularly falls below that they should buff Jason. This also makes you feel way more accomplished if you actually survive.

My problem with shift grab is it isn't fun. I don't feel like I'm really Jason when I get people that way. Jason sneaks up on people or wears them down via chase. I like that Jason is OP, he should be, but that mechanic is really the only thing that keeps the game from feeling like a true F13 experience.

I still love the game but they should give Jason a CD after shifting, even if that means nl buffing other abilities. Maybe give the shift a 2 second CD but it also comes with an automatic 3 seconds of "stalk" after shifting.

Maybe make it so you can only shift out of people's view but you get 2 seconds of both stalk and sense. I'm just spitballing but I feel like those mechanics could be improved. Maybe give stalk a slight move speed boost. There are a lot of ways to keep Jason OP without shift grabbing.

Trust me, I've been running this game on Jason for hundreds of matches. The only time it's failed was when the fucker started trapping the outside of my jump window.

Playing Jason is way too easy with how few objectives there are. It's like if DBD was always 3 gen but they were way harder to do.

For a Kickstarter game on a budget of around 2 million dollars made by a studio of five people, it's pretty impressive how decent it actually is. I would go as far to say as this is probably one of the few good Kickstarter games ever made. It's a little too ambitious for it's own good though.

It's likely to hold some players since this isn't exactly a saturated genre and the devs plan on supporting it with future content. People sick of DBD will probably stick with this for awhile until Last Year releases at some point.

They need to redo the order at which Jason gains his skills. Morph should be skill number 1 for obvious reasons still, but I think the second skill unlocked should be Stalk, the third skill Sense, and the 4th be Shift.

The bottom right corner of the screen where your skills are will turn into icons for the 4 different kills you have selected when you grab someone. The ones lit up in red are the ones you can do where you're standing, the ones greyed out are the ones you can't perform due to lack of space, but all of them can be performed from a grab. This is why having the one handed choke equipped at all times is a must, because if you catch somebody inside a cramped cabin full of shit then chances are that's the only kill you'll be able to perform and it'll be the difference between being able to kill them on the spot or having them break free because you couldn't find an open enough space to perform a kill.

Its why people spam that kill, because no matter where you grabbed somebody it'll always be available since it doesn't require any open space to do.

Map perk is really weird. I equipped it and it worked for one match. On the second and third match it didn't work, so I checked my perks to see what the fuck is up. The map perk was gone. I had 3 perks equipped and none of them was the map perk.

I hate that my fear goes up just by being in proximity of Jason, even when I can't see him and am hiding.

The system that causes my counselor to scream by just looking in the direction of Jason, as opposed to actually seeing him sucks ass. I'm trying my hardest to be stealthy with the stealth characters.

1. Knock off Jason's mask, flare gun to the face is the best way I think.
2. Get one of the female counselors to find Jason's shack and put on his mother's sweater.
3. Get sweater-wearing counselor to Jason, he then should go into some massive stun, hit him with a weapon and he'll fall to his knees.
4. Another counselor with a bladed weapon of some kind, axe or machete, can then execute him while he's kneeling.

I think this is what you have to do, but it's mostly second-hand info.

Chad and Vanessa are good when they're played as distractions. If you don't mind taking one for the team. Just avoid your teammates and get Jason to follow you, both are good at running and jumping in and out of cabins.
