I'm sorry, guys. It's utter, irredeemable shit. It's clearly on an incredibly strict budget, animations in everything but especially in cutscenes are either extremely stiff or non-existent, the mechanics are either broken or extremely dull, and no amount of rejiggying has managed to marry action and tic-tacs, it's basically a really slow musou game with flow-destroying abilities. Put your expectations really, really low and shoot your hopes dead.

/v/, has there ever been a game that you've literally forced yourself through because you think you'll finally hit that point where everything clicks and you'd start to love it?

Caus I really loved the characters, setting, artstyle and unique gameplay, but for some reason I just wasn't having fun, and to this day I still can't give a solid reason why. Ended up quitting after the 10th mission.

VC is probably the #1 game I wanted to like.

I think it's because in VC's case it's really really good when it sticks to mostly small-arms, but once it starts to spam tanks, invulnerable turret structures and so on, it turns into a mess unless you abuse broken mechanics. The missions where it's just one or two enemy tanks and some well-placed infantry are easily the most fun in the game.

She'd be more tragic if she wasn't so stupid. She swears loyalty to a retard because he "saved" her from being experimented on, but the only reason that would've happened to begin with was his orders and his wars. Then she's told to kill herself from the same retard who wants to become a wannabe Valkyria instead.

It's really hard to feel any sympathy for her when she's a fanatic for a dumbass and could've walked away like her compatriot in the cheater tank. In the context of what the game's war being basically a sideshow so Maximillian can compensate for his tiny penis, everyone's sacrifices seem even more vain and stupid.

Her and Alicia have really weird issues, it's always bothered me how servile they are despite being mythical beings.
