they fucked up with hl3, maybe they got too ambitious and the project ended up in development hell. Then in the mean time they got too rich to care and the original development team all left. So people who are more of shitty steam developers types\ jewish scammer type should try and release an overhyped game that would be probably be demolished even if it was actually good for how over hyped it is... mmmh... not going to happen.

the over hype also means that even if they developed it, they would play it super safe so no interesting game play or shit like that (gotta play it safe)

Valve does their own events now in October.

It wouldn't surprise me to see them announce some new games this year as a way to show off how their work on AMDGPU+RadV has gone. By that point AMDGPU should support Freesync monitors and RadV should be as fast or faster than AMD's official Vulkan driver with Vega cards.

Not sure I'd expect to be able to play them on Windows though.

For it to be a bad choice you must acknowledge that good and bad exists. But Good and bad do not exist, merely our perception that is then perpetuated by expectations. The true answer is that everything that happens is the best possible thing that could have happened, given the circumstances when you factor in a universal consideration rather than an approximal one. I've collected a few resources. I'd suggest Stoicism, anon. It's a wonderful philosophy that started by the ancient Greeks and Romans that allows happiness to come from within, even in the midst of stress, triggers, and seemingly unfortunate situations.

). It's a neat "self-help" book in the literal sense that he wrote notes to himself to help. It's helped me battle bi-polar and a depression that's cost me two jobs. I'm happily at my third, seeing a therapist as well.

Portal 2 was a stupid and unnecessary cash grab only liked by braindead moron who are happy to see GLaDOS again (and a shittier, less witty and less sophisticated version of GLaDOS at that). They are an indie studio, they don't have to shit out a new game ever year anon, they can take as much time as they want.
Their last game was 5 years ago, that's the time between each TES game, and really isn't a very long time.

Not to mention, in those 5 years they made Source 2, a new physics engine, VR stuff, steam box, steam OS, steam controller, constant updates for their most popular games.

That's more than most studios out there put together, and the fact that they made a new engine and physics engine is proof that they are working on games.

No, we're not blind. If you pay attention you can see all the work Valve are doing out in the open on open source infrastructure projects. They're not just sitting on a pile of money like the Microsoft astroturfers want you to believe.
They don't need to shit out a new game every year. They make a ton of money off of their evergreen titles, which they keep well maintained with regular updates, and a fair bit off of running Steam and providing other services to developers.

Yes, they also maintain a lot of utilities for Vulkan as well as contribute to RadV an open source Vulkan driver.
They also contribute more generally to Mesa which is a broad open source drivers project.

Even if that's the case, they have to try or Microsoft with Windows 10 S will destroy PC gaming as we know it with no resistance.
Just this last week saw more AAA releases and announcements for Linux as it closes in on the 3500 games mark.
With the Linux release of Total War Shogun 2, and the announcement that Dawn of War 3 would get a Linux version with exclusive Vulkan support.

How exactly are they shit anon?
I've been liking them since Half-Life and have been using Steam since 2004, flawless experience.

Literally the ONLY shit move they made was with paid mods, which when you really look at it is completely irrelevant since it affected only the workshop, the nexus was gonna stay free.

They made only god tier games, and as far as I know, they're the only company that allows you to make real money by just selling crates you got from playing. I honestly can't find a single bad thing about them.
