But this game definitely needs a hardmode. Disable the ability to pheonix down yourself and if your entire party is down and can't revive you, you're dead.

Not being able to properly explore the world of ruin was literally the most disappointing thing in this game.

It makes no sense to me why they'd not have that, it would have been great to visit the old locales but see them fucked, whilst adding super hard quests instead of having to go into the past to level up.
