MH threads were always pretty bad. MH isn't really a game you can talk about because the gameplay is much too complex to put into words.

So all we end up doing is talk about tiers, which don't actually exist, or comparing MH to other games, which is pointless since MH is unique. Or which monster is hard, leading to a million replies going "He thinks X is hard!" without offering any examples of monsters THEY think is hard.

The Lance. 3rd poke on guildstyle ruins evade lancing. Striker style has the better combo but it lost some other important moves. I have no idea why they fucked with classic lance style so much in Gen.

Not including sub species, 3u has 25 monsters and 4u has 40+. Even excluding the actually bad gen 2 monsters 4u still has far and away more monsters than 3u, quite a few of which are the monsters from 3u that are actually worth carrying over. You call 4u shit for too many returning monsters but 3u has a cast of monsters primarily made up of sub species, do those not count as rehashing?
