Serious answer, it knows when to be light hearted and fun and when to be serious. The "substories" in the game are genuinely entertaining and diverse, walking around Kamarucho and other locations are fantastic and accurate to Japan and the mini games are easy to relax with.

I don't think it's necessary to place more than once AC in the list, it should just be New Leaf to represent the entire series. They're all good anyway.

The Legendary Starfy, and probably the other Starfy games as well. Lots of places to swim around in stages, not very difficult but most of the interest in the game is just exploring everywhere.

Chocobo series. Chocobo Tales was a fun series of minigames with a story attached; Chocobo's Dungeon 2 and Chocobo Racing were charming as well.

Rune Factory Frontier. Rune Factory in general, but Frontier stood out as the largest cast and most interesting area to wander around in. RF3 and RF4 probably had the more interesting cast, though.

Solatorobo deserves a mention, for a lot of the reasons that Mega Man Legends is on the list. Heck, you fight be picking enemies up and tossing them around, as opposed to shoving missiles up everything's ass.

I might mention A Boy And His Blob on Wii (apparently now on PC) as well. Hugging Blob is surprisingly rewarding after getting through a tough section. Sure, it has shadow monsters trying to eat the boy, but you have some fucked up stuff on that list as well.

You know what game I found fucking comfy back in the day? Airboarder 64. That game had a freeroam mode and every level had comfy off the fucking charts.

Maybe its just because I'm drunk and nostalgia but man that game had some good comfy.

Although I honestly would question a lot of games on that list as being "comfy" as well. I mean, Kirby is fun, but it is also about eating and hacking apart enemies everywhere you go. Cute, yes. Charming, yes. Comfy?
