Disagree. Playing NG+ and the bank plus pyramid stick out. Bank stopped being interesting once you open the second half of the stage at the vault. This is because the funneling is insane.

Making the song grow more and more ominous the deeper you go would have been cool. Maybe it starts as just the doot-doot-doot garbage but adds more instrumentation and vocals, and actually builds to something pleasant to listen to (or at least fitting, thematically).
