30FPS is much less responsive, higher framerates have less input lag. This would be totally fine for an action game or an RPG but FPS and fighting games suffer heavily from a 30FPS lock. Why do you think fighting games almost universally all target 60FPS and many big FPS franchises like CoD, BF1, and Overwatch target 60FPS. Halo 5 even made a lot of visual sacrifices with heavy pop-in and res scaling for 60FPS the game feels much faster and more responsive then previous games because of it.

My point being devs wouldn't even bother with 60FPS if it was a "pointless gimmick" but I guess now you want to tell me you know more about game development then game devs do.

Actually they cant get 60. Game uses a lot physics and cpu cant handle game at 60 for neither of consoles. Only gpu's got that nice almos 3x boost. Cpu for ps4 pro and xbox one s only got 30% improvement. Thats what destiny 2 dev said

I've put two of the same game side by side (one on my PS4, one on my PC) to show people the difference between 30fps and 60+fps and you would be depressed by how many people are literally incapable of seeing the difference. I like Destiny. Its fun.

I got it at launch and put it on the shelf til TTK came out. Yes it was shit at launch but now with all the content its a pretty solid shooter that feels great and thats what I want.

Call me a shill all you want but im excited for destiny 2.

Bungo has said they learned from last time and will have a more steady content feed, and more to do at launch. Im optimistic.

Also 30 fps doesnt bother me, its solid on PS4 and thats where everyone I know plays.

No shit the PC version will be best version im not doubting that.

Lets not forget Bungie is signed to a 3 games in 10 years contract and if they miss a deadline Activision takes some of Bungies company.
