In this day and age where Fallout 4 exists? Nope. FO4 basically pushed the boundaries of what WRPGs can be and raised the standard to which all new RPGs are going to have to adhere to--and probably fail miserably. Playing the previous games is just an exercise in tedium at this point.

I heard Fallout 4 is really good, you should buy it and drop these old games, anon :)

It has very good writing and world design with highly memorable characters and locations.

And also broken mechanics, an outdated UI, and major bugs and editing mistakes. Off the top of my head, I once failed a quest and got an entire town wiped off the map because I followed directions that contained a typo, and accordingly assumed the NPC that gave me them was deliberately trying to get me killed.

It's worth a playthrough in my book, but New Vegas is the superior game if you ask me.
