Balancing via RNG is the laziest and shittiest way to do it. It's not fun for the player involved unless that play really enjoys gambling. I would say most people wouldn't like getting fucked over because of a coin-toss. Now, it's a different story if you can manage the RNG and through planning being able to nullify it but if there's just straight up unpreventable RNG game is shit to me.
