What would be the pros and cons of Miyamoto leaving Ninetendo?

Even though he hasn't made any videogames in the last years he is the face of Nintendo, it would cause an uproar and "nerd fans" would start bitching.

He'd have to be replaced by someone with equal clout. Nearly every new idea Nintendo programmers/designers come up with gets shot down by Nintendo's board of elderly directors because they don't understand it etc. Pitching an idea to Nintendo is like pitching it to your Grandad who barely knows how to work an iPhone, but the instant he gets confused he says "No" and your pitch is over.

If Miyamoto was passionate about something he'd keep going back and persisting until the board approved, so if he persisted the board would often approve even if they didn't know what the fuck he was talking about.

To be an Action/Adventure game with a focus on puzzles. I'll never understand how you take away the main genre a series was, especially when the original titles for Paper Mario 64 were Super Mario RPG 2 and Mario RPG 64.

Basically, he's the REAL reason why we got Color Splash, Chibi-Robo 2D and Fed Force the way they were being three shitty games that have the making of a tone-deaf person.
If we ever have Metroid Prime 4, I'm scared at what might happens if he handles it.

pros: More open minded ideas towards certain franchises and them not being held back for being original or unique. Also, the gimmicks will FINALLY be nuked.

cons: Some changes may cause these franchises to turn into the most shittiest things ever and them not staying true to what the franchise is SUPPOSE to be about.

It's really hard to say though, Miyamoto is a complicated old japanese man, who as much as you hate him, hope he can maintain the franchises to not turn them into shit due to influence of young developers, or worse.......Nintendo of America.
