Read the second part of my post. Outside of a few things (a mobile game being chief among those exceptions) Damian's portrayal in spinoffs is usually bad. They end up missing something that comic counterpart has and he ends up looking edgy or psychotic as a result with little balance. Thus, I feel like having a solo Damian game wouldn't be a smart move, whereas something like the Batman Reborn era where Dick, Tim , Jason (technically) and Steph (if they really want to bring her in) were all active could work out better, in introducing him at least.

every game made by a studio with Montreal in their name has been bad. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided by Eidos Montreal? flopped so hard Sqeenix shut it down. Mass Effect: Andromeda by BioWare Montreal? flop, EA downgraded them back to a studio that only produces DLCs and shitty iOS games for people's phones. I think that having a studio in that city is just being used as some kind of tax break by AAA publishers.

Yeah but I think this is WB Montreal's last try. They already had Suicide Squad in development for 2 years and it got canned, now they developed this Damian Wayne game for 2 years and it got sent back to the drawing board. They have four times the amount of staff Rocksteady has and no games since Arkham Origins (2013). If they fail again, WB will buy a new studio and let them make more Batman games.
