You can go to ringed city stuff as soon as you beat Friede. If you can handle her then you should be able to take Demon Prince+Halflight.
Pretty sure you don't even need to beat Gael for Shira to invade.
There, now you have best str/faith weapon with at least half the bosses still remaining.
